The many islands in our seventeen miles of wilderness fishery cause the waters to quicken as water is forced around the islands on its course of travel from one end of the lake to the other. As the water quickens, it scours the bottom of silt revealing the gravel bottom and creating more spawning ground available to the Walleye.
