The amount of food available to our northern Ontario Walleye fishery is endless. The Walleye grow faster. We suspect that nature, through selective breeding over thousands of years, has produced Walleye in the Allanwaters that are genetically capable of growing larger than in other Walleye fisheries. Trophy sized Walleye are in greater abundance.
